Neveen H. McLeod
Ms. McLeod brings her passion to the practice of law and is dedicated to providing superior client service. Prior to founding the Law Offices of Neveen McLeod, Ms. McLeod was a civil litigation associate at Stein, Sperling, Bennett, De Jong, Driscoll & Greenfeig, P.C. At Stein, Sperling et al., Ms. McLeod concentrated her practice on complex commercial litigation, mechanic's lien cases, small claims, and real estate matters. Prior to private practice, Ms. McLeod served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County and as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable John M. Glynn in Baltimore City, Maryland. As a former Assistant State’s Attorney, Ms. McLeod handled hundreds of cases ranging from traffic offenses and criminal misdemeanors to felony charges.
Ms. McLeod is a graduate of the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland where she double majored in Government and Politics as well as Criminology and Criminal Justice. While at the University of Maryland, Ms. McLeod was inducted into the Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society. After earning her Bachelor's degree from University of Maryland, Ms. McLeod attended the University of Baltimore School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate.
While in law school, Ms. McLeod served as as President of the International Law Society, as Vice-President of the Women’s Bar Association, as a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Team, and as a writer for Law Forum Legal Journal. Ms. McLeod was also a member of the Criminal Law Association and Family Law Association.
Ms. McLeod is active in a number of professional organizations including the Maryland State Bar Association, Anne Arundel County Bar Association, Prince George’s County Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association, and the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association.
Ms. McLeod is fluent in Arabic and is licensed to practice before the state and federal courts in Maryland.
